Summer's here
The summer's here, so it must be festival season. It started on June 12 with the Isle of Wight Festival, who had an excellent line up: REM, supported by Snow Patrol, Embrace, Starsailor and the Magic Numbers. I was impressed by all the bands (apart from Embrace) and thought REM were just excellent.Saturday night was U2 at Twickenham Rugby Stadium, supported by Athlete and the Doves. It was a very very good show. I was impressed by the effects and the atmosphere of the crowds. I do feel slightly deaf though.
